The Sprague Loop is a common one for a quick 25 miles/40 km. Most will ride this route in 1.5-2hrs and traffic is light once you turn off Hwy 77, which has a good shoulder. We often use this route on the Chitchat ride when the wind is from the south or southwest. There’s a couple of nice hills, but in general, it’s doable for nearly all riders and a great one for a quick workout or recovery ride.
Workout tip: This route is in the time frame of getting in an upper endurance to lower tempo effort in. Work in 15-30 minute efforts with full recovery. Leave room for a cool down.
